welcome to Miller Middle School where every student is embraced by a community that goes beyond just being a school it's a place where connections are Ford influence is cultivated and interdependence with the world beyond our families become the guiding Miller Middle School is located in Durango Colorado and serves approximately 500 students my favorite thing about Miller Middle School is to the positive learning environment from all the kids all the teachers at Miller we believe in fostering more academic growth we are dedicated to nurturing the social emotional and intellectual identity that will shape our students for a lifetime learning boundary is connected by collaboration is connected by communication is connected by principles learning at Miller is looking at the future what tomorrow can be for our students and helping them to Envision a brighter tomorrow we work together to support each other in class or workshops designed to stimulate intellectual development we focus on cloning essential skills Miller and braces the district portrait of a graduate six competencies to prepare students for life after school and pathetic collaborator Brazilian risk-taker creative problem-solver adjunct anchor confident communicator and courageous leader we Empower our students with the tools of critical thinking academic and social problem solving Collaborative Learning and effective communication it's not just about what we learn in the classroom it's about how we apply that knowledge to make a positive attack on the world around us my favorite part about Miller Middle School is how much we learn and how well the teachers teach us Miller Middle School is in the process of building a new facility adjacent to the current school which will play portions of the existing School the new building slated to open fall of 2024 is designed to enhance the curriculum in division by fostering collaboration connectedness and intellectual growth and Miller Middle School we're not just shaking students we are shaping Future Leaders compassionate citizens and Global contributors if you're passionate about learning passion about talking to other people other students then it's going to be an amazing place for you join us on this incredible journey we invite you to be a Miller angel
