Miller Middle School, in Durango Colorado, serves approximately 500 sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students. Miller incorporates Durango School District's Portrait of a Graduate into student's education.

Miller Middle School is a space where we experience our connection with influence over and interdependence upon a community beyond our family here we begin to develop a social emotional intellectual identity that will remain with us throughout our life Miller Middle School is located on the north side of Durango and Thursday only 500 students in 6th 7th and 8th grade a new school is under construction the same location and is scheduled to open in the fall of 2024 at Miller Middle School we care deeply about how kids are thinking and making meaning of the world around them from many perspectives is experiencing that are connected when we care about Susan thinking learning is student-centered in our classrooms American education is under find a fundamental shift and what it means to learn we are moving from a culture or an information-age to a problem solving and thinking age breathing with this is real Squire Parsons be successful in whatever their Pursuits are that they leave Miller Durango high school and Beyond Greenville schools has introduced the portrait of a graduate what is six dispositions that will help students be successful in the future Miller Middle School is tightly aligned as we are working on building thinking classroom to ensure that students are developing dispositions in all six areas we look forward to seeing your students at Miller please stop by anytime and we can talk more about learning at Miller go angels
