See what is happening at Miller this month!

Monday, April 20, is a Professional Development Day for faculty and staff, and there will be no school for students. Classes will resume on Tuesday, April 21.

Throughout each school year, DSD employees nominate their colleagues for Bravo Awards, an honor that recognizes faculty and staff who demonstrate Portrait of a Graduate attributes as they go above and beyond for students and the district.

With support from community volunteers and Green Team Advisor Molly McPherson, students on Miller Middle School's Green Team spent a recent Saturday morning weeding their school's garden beds, cleaning out the tool shed, and moving rocks in preparation for a new garden layout.

The DSD Board of Education will host its annual Portrait of a Graduate Awards ceremony for students districtwide on Thursday, April 30, in the Durango High School Gymnasium (2390 Main Ave.).

Explore an interactive digital exhibit created by Miller Middle School students that memorializes the upstanders of the Holocaust and other global genocides and examines the power of the human spirit.

Thanks to its growing middle school curriculum and field trip offerings, DSD's SOIL Outdoor Learning Lab recently hosted all 7th graders from Miller Middle School and Escalante Middle School to learn about the cycling of matter.
