English language learner students excel in English language proficiency growth assessments

Durango School District’s English language learner (ELL) high school students scored high on the Colorado Department of Education’s (CDE) ACCESS for ELLs English language proficiency assessment. The results from last school year’s testing, released this fall, show that Durango School District elementary and high school students did well in their language acquisition growth compared to ELL students across the state.

FIRST LEGO League Robotics Teams Forming Now

It's time to sign up for FIRST LEGO League global robotics program for kids. The Durango School District 9-R FIRST LEGO League (FLL) program is coordinated by the Powerhouse Science Center.
