Our classrooms are for learning, connecting, and being present. Phones and smart watches can be distracting and impact learning for everyone. For this reason, DSD's cell phone policy offers the following guidelines:
- Grades K-8: No phones or smart watches during the school day, even at lunch and passing periods.
- Grades 9-12: Devices must be put away and out of sight during all class time, every day.
