Principal Message
Miller Families,
Welcome to the December edition of the Miller Newsletter!
It is hard to believe that we are already moving into Semester 2 and preparing to close out the calendar year. I want to express my deep appreciation for the effort, growth, and commitment shown by our students, staff, and families during this first half of the school year. The school's new project ‘Miller Gives’ holiday donation program will focus on student-chosen themes for local families, more information will come on Friday December 5th.

Winter weather & snow:
- If there is no delay or closure message by 6 a.m., schools are open on a regular schedule
- Expect possible bus delays, and give yourself extra time to get to bus stops and school.
- You can find additional information in our Snow Day Frequently Asked Questions web page on the district website.
- Outside Activities & Recess:
- For temperature ranges 10°F - 33°F we will be outside for recess. Students should dress warm in a jacket and closed toe shoes. Below 10°F we will be inside.
Reminders
- Please review the Student/Caregiver Handbook
- Students must only cross Junction St at the crosswalk.
- Student IDs are required to enter the building. If they don’t have their physical ID, they can use their digital ID in Minga or Infinite Campus. Report lost IDs to the front office. There is a fee for a replacement.
- Phones must be off and put away during the school day.
- When attending after-school events, please do not park in bike lanes or fire lanes. The lower and upper parking lots may be used for parking.
- Drinks are not allowed in classrooms
- Items in our Lost & Found are donated before each break, be sure to check it before it’s gone!
