One of the biggest questions parents have is – when will schools have to close or how likely is it that my child may need to stay home in the future. The answer really is that if we honor our precautions and safety measures, we hope there will be little impact moving forward.
To ensure this, it will take partnership. We ask parents to truly engage in the screening process daily. Below are the links to the forms that you will complete on a daily basis when you wake up each morning. If your child has any symptoms related to COVID – fever, coughs, shortness of breath, chills, muscle aches, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell – we ask you to keep them home. If a child comes to school with any of those symptoms, we will need to call you and keep your child isolated until you can come pick them up.
We know some students have these symptoms due to chronic health conditions. Securing a note from your doctor on these common symptoms will be helpful as we move forward.
Important Tips on Completing these Forms:
- Enter child's full legal name (no nicknames or initials)
- If you mark yes to any of the symptoms, do not take your child to school. Call to report the absence
