Journey Through Our Heritage

Journey Through Our Heritage is an after school group that originated from a grant, through the Durango Latino Education Coalition. It is a study of culture. Primarily this centers on Latino and Native American culture, but is inclusive of the cultures of all of the participants. Students compete in trivia, create an essay that is centered on a theme, and create an artistic representation of the same theme. There is also involvement with Fort Lewis College and other community services. Journey will begin the last week of October and run through April.
